Â
WWD-Delhi Sector stands for the Women’s Welfare Department of Ananda Marga Pracaraka Samgha for the countries India, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, and Sri Lanka.
Â
WWD was founded in 1965 by the spiritual founder of Ananda Marga Shrii Shrii Anandamurti as an organisational wing to be administered by ladies for the primary welfare of women and children and society at large.

WWD is run by dedicated missionaries (sanyasins) working in close coordination with families and the community. WWD has numerous social service and educational projects serving at the grassroots level while at the same time propagating spiritual and yogic lifestyle for the all-round development on the physical, mental and spiritual level.

Its ideal is represented in the motto of Ananda Marga “A’tmamoks’a'rtham jagat hita’ya ca” which means ‘Self-development and Service to Humanity’
